Kyocera today unveiled a slew of new handsets, including the slim E5000 "S"-hinge handset and the E2000 music-centric clamshell.

The Kyocera E5000 handset features a sculpted "S"-hinge design made of stainless steel. Sporting EV-DO connectivity, a 1.3 Megapixel camera and Stereo Bluetooth, the E5000 also offers up an integrated music player with touch-sensitive external controls. The handset also incorporates a microSD memory slot for storing up to 2 GB of music, as well as a 2" QCIF+ TFT screen. The Kyocera E5000 will be available from CDMA carriers in Fall 2007.

The Kyocera E2000 clamshell has a special focus on digital music, hence offering over-the-air music and video downloads, as well as Stereo Bluetooth, external music controls and a microSD memory slot. A 1.3 Megapixel camera and a 2" QCIF+ TFT screen has also been incorporated, and the E2000 is slated for release in Fall 2007.

The Kyocera M1000 handset features a full QWERTY keypad, aimed at texting and instant messaging fanatics. According to Kyocera, the keypad operates silently, and a textured back ensures better grip and comfort when texting. The M1000 also offers a 1.3 Megapixel camera and Bluetooth connectivity. The Kyocera M1000 will be available this summer through CDMA carriers.

Kyocera today also announced the E1000 mid-range and S1000 low-end phones, which both will be released this summer through CDMA carriers.
