With 3G networking, now available in American HSDPA band frequencies, Wi-Fi and an 8GB hard disk drive, the HTC Advantage certainly looks like a UMPC on paper. When we originally saw the device at CES, it was running Windows Mobile 5 on its large, VGA screen, which made the QVGA native OS look blocky and outdated. Now, the Advantage X7501 is running Windows Mobile 6, which has vague support for higher resolutions, so we're looking forward to getting a hands-on look at this otherwise feature-packed device. The device retains Bluetooth 2.0, a 3-megapixel camera, 5-inch VGA touch screen and an external monitor port for VGA or TV output.
