Motorola RAZR V3xx glitters in goldBy Jennifer Hooker, 23 February 2007

The 3.5G clamshell glams up its style with a gold shade of paint, but it maintains the same feature set.

The Motorola RAZR V3xx (read our full review) adds some glitz to its appearance sporting a gold shell on AT&T's lineup. However, this isn't the first RAZR we've seen to select the color; the RAZR V3i Dolce & Gabbana edition, available on T-Mobile, also received the Midas touch back in October.

Other than its costume change, the Motorola V3xx Gold keeps the same specifications as its predecessor, including support for AT&T's HSDPA network, along with access to Cingular Music and Video. The handset also features stereo Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel camera, microSD memory expansion, mobile e-mail and instant messaging. The fashion-conscious will have to shell out double the cash for the clamshell's latest variant, as the RAZR V3xx Gold is running for $100 with a two-year service contract -- twice the price of the regular gray V3xx.

Price & availability

The Motorola RAZR V3xx Gold is available immediately from AT&T for $100 with a two-year service contract.
