The sleek clamshell upgrades to support HSDPA and serves up twin cameras for video conferencing.

Motorola's KRZR line will expand with the K3, which moves away from the glossy, fingerprint-prone looks of the KRZR K1. The K3 will sport a metallic silver shell with a wide black stripe down the center of its face that surrounds the external display. The flat, metallic keypad, made so popular by Motorola's own RAZRs, is still present on this clamshell.

The KRZR K3 picks up where the K1 left off in terms of features as well as design, with support for HSDPA, a 2-megapixel external camera and a VGA camera for video conferencing. The K3 also includes stereo Bluetooth, a media player, USB 2.0, 64MB of internal memory and a microSD expansion slot. The K3 is expected to arrive this spring, but you can figure that the internal VGA camera will be dropped for stateside models.

Price & availability

The Motorola KRZR K3 is expected to slated to arrive in spring 2007. Pricing has yet to be announced.
