The entry-level candy bar ups the ante from its sibling, the J110, by adding a FM radio to its specs.
The Sony Ericsson J120 budget handset features an unassuming design in basic black, and an even simpler form factor as a classic candy bar. However, its simple style resembles some of its high-end Walkman brethren, such as the W800i and the W610.
Even though the J120 doesn't have a packed feature set like Sony Ericsson's Walkman lineup, it's an upgrade to the recently announced J110. Like the J110, Sony Ericsson will include an easy-to-use icon interface in the J120, but takes it one step further by adding FM radio. Music lovers will be able to store 10 radio stations in the handset, and enjoy them on the bundled stereo headset or the phones loudspeaker, which doubles as a speakerphone. The J120 is expected to arrive by late spring in selected markets.
