Motorola's KRZR K1m was already an attractive phone, with its slim profile and glossy shell, but the clamshell took its good looks one step further with a Fire red, shiny shell. Motorola has given its handsets the scarlet treatment before, with the RED RAZR, but unlike the RAZR, the KRZR's costume change doesn't signify a partnership with the Product (RED) charity initiative.
The Fire KRZR's extensive feature set remains unchanged, and includes a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, a speakerphone, instant messaging and speaker-independent voice dialing. The flip phone also offers up access to Verizon Wireless' V Cast Video and Music service, along with a microSD memory card slot for storing all your tracks. Fortunately, Verizon won't charge extra for the KRZR's rosy hue and maintains a $100 price tag with a two-year service contract.
