Motorola unleashes yet another RAZR into its aging handset line with the RAZR V3xx. We caught a glimpse of the clamshell while covering the floor at CES 2007, and while it looks just like every other RAZR we've seen (flat, metallic keypad and all), we couldn't deny the attraction to the sleek flip phone. We also were impressed by the vivid 2.2-inch TFT display.
The true draw to the V3xx (previously known as the RAZR XX) is that it's the first 3G RAZR available on a GSM network in the U.S., with full HSDPA support. The clamshell also ups the ante on the 3G CDMA version, the RAZR V3m, with stereo Bluetooth and Cingular Music support to access your Napster and Yahoo Music library. For the Cingular version, Motorola has dropped the front-facing camera used for video conferencing, as the network has yet to officially support the feature. Cingular’s V3xx will only have a 1.3-megapixel camera. Rounding out the feature set are microSD memory expansion, a speakerphone and instant messaging with support for AOL, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo.
