The multimedia flip phone gets dolled up in time for Valentine's Day, but still maintains the same specs including a media player, memory expansion, instant messaging and stereo Bluetooth.

With Valentine's Day soon approaching, Samsung's SGH-A707, the Cingular SYNC, dons a more romantic look with a stylish red shell. The A707's costume change follows the recent trend of scarlet-hued handsets that we've been seeing, including the Samsung SPH-M500 and SGH-C417, as well as Motorola's signature RAZR.

The quad-band SGH-A707's solid feature set remains the same on the red version, and includes a 2-megapixel camera/camcorder, stereo Bluetooth, a media player and the ability to sync with your Napster and Yahoo Music tunes. The entertainment clamshell also serves up MobiTV and MobiRadio, along with Cingular Video. Rounding out the SYNC's feature set are HSDPA support, a speakerphone, microSD expansion and instant messaging.

Available immediately from Cingular for $50 with a two-year service agreement, the red A707 won't set you back any more than the original A707.
