With its transluscent flip and glowing icons, the tri-band Z310 is certainly a looker, although you won't find any Walkman-like abilities on this budget phone.
Design
Undeniably cool, the Z310 clamshell makes a statement with its transluscent shell; we love the indicator lights that appear to float just beneath the flip (we only got to see the time indicator, but we're assured that more icons light up when calls and text messages arrive). The Z310's display looks relatively sharp for a budget phone, and the flat backlit keypad was easy on our fingertips.
Features
Sorry, music fans -- the Z310 isn't a Walkman phone, so there's no music player or memory expansion under the phone's sweet-looking hood. However, the tri-band GSM/EDGE clamshell arrives with a solid if somewhat pedestrian set of features, including a VGA camera, Bluetooth, a speakerphone, instant messaging and an e-mail client.

Pros:
Cool transluscent flip with glowing indicator lights beneath; stylish and easy-to-peck keypad
Cons:
So-so feature set; no music abilities | | |
