Available now on Sprint, the MM-A900M boasts a few interface updates, but otherwise it's the same Blade you know and love.
Attention, Blade fans: Sprint has just announced an update to your favorite thin flip-phone. But before you dash to the nearest Sprint store to trade up, we should tell you that the MM-A900M isn't exactly an earth-shattering upgrade. The "new" phone maintains the sleek and stylish appearance of its predecessor, the A900, and in fact it keeps almost exactly the same functionality of the original. So what's the difference, you ask? The updated edition adds a few new interfaces that are a bit more customizable than the older menu system. For example, the A900m has a theme setting that dislays icons on the phone's display for the main menu, on-demand content, and other mobile content. You can buy themes on Sprint's mobile content store, ranging from sports to nature (the two included on the phone were tropical and American). Otherwise, you're looking at (more or less) the same Blade, including EV-DO data access, a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, an integrated media player, and access to Sprint's TV and music services.
