Capable of holding a mere 20 MP3 files in its onboard memory, prospective owners of LG's new U400 music slider are likely to make heavy use of its memory expansion slot as they shop for music directly from the handset or transfer it from a PC. Supporting stereo audio over Bluetooth, users can navigate music via a large scroll wheel, looking up music by artist, title or genre, or alternatively snap stills with the integrated 2 Megapixel camera or browse Three's content services at 3G speeds.

Specifications

- MP3 player with dedicated scroll wheel for navigation
- Supports over-the-air music purchasing and streaming
- Stereo Bluetooth audio
- 68 MB of onboard memory, equivalent to 20 MP3 files
- miniSD memory expansion slot
- USB 1.1 connectivity
- 2-inch QVGA high resolution display
- 100 x 48 x 20 mm, 114 g
- Claims 4 hours of talk time and 14 days of standby

Price and availability

The LG U400 is available as of late July exclusively to Three subscribers for free as a Pay Monthly handset.
