Three miniature high-definition speakers (one tweeter and two woofers) make it possible.
The E500PTH earbuds might offer spectacular sound but what good is it if you can't hear it over the background noise - be it while commuting or running at the gym. An included PTH (push to hear) control accessory almost completely drowns out outside ambient sounds without having to tote bulky noise-canceling headphones. With the flip of a switch, an external microphone is activated and the volume is automatically lowered.
