Three miniature high-definition speakers (one tweeter and two woofers) make it possible.

An included PTH (push to hear) control accessory almost completely drowns out outside ambient sounds without having to tote bulky noise-canceling headphones. With the flip of a switch, an external microphone is activated and the volume is automatically lowered.
