Expanding its Lumix line, Panasonic shows with the pocket-sized DMC-FX3 and DMC-FX07, the midsize DMC-LX2 shooter, and the feature-packed DMC-FZ50 Digital SLR.

Panasonic's newest Lumix cameras have a broad audience in mind. From the point-and-shoot DMC-FX3 to the DMC-FZ50 DSLR, Panasonic has a camera for everyone from the soccer mom to the wannabe Ansel Adams. All of the new offerings include MEGA O.I.S. (optical image stabilization) so that even the shakiest hands produce clear, in-focus snaps.

The Lumix DMC-FZ50 is the refresh of Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FZ30. This DSLR packs a 12X optical zoom, a 2-inch LCD, 10-megapixel resolution, and Intelligent ISO Control (IIC), which reduces blurriness by compensating for shakiness and moving subjects. The DMC-FZ50 is ideal for anyone looking to take extra-sharp pictures perfect for enlarging or viewing on a TV. Manual focus gives you control over every setting. If you prefer to let the camera do the work, however, switch to the IIC feature, which detects movement and automatically adjusts the ISO and shutter speed.
