As the K610i hits shelves, Sony Ericsson finally chalks up a 3G phone which isn't clunky and under-featured. On tap: video calling, MP3 ringtones, stereo Bluetooth audio and more.

Having failed to attract attention with its Z800i and K600i models, Sony Ericsson is making yet another attempt with the K610i. Key to the handset is its 2 Megapixel camera and medium-size screen, which together enable photo snapping and video recording as well as video calling. Also present is an MP3 player with support for stereo Bluetooth audio, as well as MP3 ringtones and Memory Stick Micro expansion for extending the measly 16 MB of onboard memory and USB 2.0 for snappy file transfers.
