The stylish – if bare-bones – C139 arrives with a 64,000-color screen, dual-band GSM support, a suite of PIM apps, and more.

Measuring 4 by 1.8 by 0.9 inches and weighing in at about 3 ounces, the candybar-shaped C139 looks like a budget version of Moto's ever-popular SLVR series, minus most of the SLVR's high-end features. The phone lacks Bluetooth, memory expansion and even 1xRTT data support, but it does have a 65,000-color TFT LCD, SMS messaging, a 100-entry phonebook, a calendar, and such extras as a calculator, a stopwatch, and a built-in lantern for finding your way in the dark.

Available now through Cingular GoPhone (the carrier's pre-paid service), the C139 retails for $40; no contract is required.
