Clocking in a resolution of 1024 x 1080 pixels and a 3000:1 contrast ratio, the Philips 42PF9631D comes equipped with a combination of the Dutch Maker's Pixel Plus 2 HD Engine and Ambilight 2. Tackling signals up to 1080i through either of its dual HDMI ports, dual RGB SCART inputs or a single Component video option, the HDTV also integrates a hybrid analog/DVB-T tuner, USB connectivity is also present, with the 42PF9631D capable of playing back MP3, JPEG and MPEG1/2 files from compatible devices.

Sporting a mammoth 20.1-inch widescreen display, Acer's Aspire 9800 multimedia notebook is primed for entertainment as one of the first from the maker to come equipped with an integrated HD-DVD drive. Other specifications are nothing to sneeze at either, with a 256 MB Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 chipset driving graphics, up to 240 GB of SATA storage and up to 4 GB of RAM. Intel Core Duo processor choices abound, and to top it all off the notebook also totes HDMI with HDCP support for hi-def video out.

Its claim to fame, however, is what BenQ claims is the fastest response time among 15-inch laptops at the time of launch at 16 ms, with graphics powered by a Nvidia GeForce Go 7400 card with 128 MB of memory.
