The new handset – Nokia's first 3G slider in the U.S. – comes with a 1.3-megapixel camera, V Cast support, instant messaging, and more.
The dual-band EV-DO 6305i slider hits the scene with a sleek black and silver design, although at 4 by 1.9 by 1 inches and 4.7 ounces (and with a good-sized external antenna), it's a bit bulky and heavy.
In addition to the 1.3-megapixel camera and support for Verizon's V Cast video and music service, the phone comes with a two-inch, 262,000-color display, a video recorder, a speakerphone, 128MB of memory, SMS/MMS and instant messaging. Missing from the mix, however, is Bluetooth and a slot for flash-memory expansion.
Available now through Nokia's Web site, the 6305i is free with a two-year Verizon Wireless service agreement, or $280 for the phone itself. The 6305i has yet to arrive on Verizon's Web site.
