Boasting 3G connectivity, a 2 Megapixel camera, a high-resolution display, stereo FM radio and microSD expansion, Nokia's classically styled 6234 handset is now available exclusively from Vodafone.
Similar in all respects to the Nokia 6233 but with a slightly different visual styling, Vodafone has now started selling the Nokia 6234 3G phone, which is an exclusive to the operator. The handset is equipped with a high-resolution QVGA screen running the latest version of Nokia's Series 40 platform, as well as a 2 Megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom and a microSD card expansion slot for extending its 6 MB of onboard memory.
The 3G-enabled handset also contains a stereo FM radio and a music player, as well as Bluetooth connectivity with printing support and EDGE as a data backup for when 3G coverage isn't available. Other highlights include Push-To-Talk (PTT) support, USB connectivity and Java MIDP 2.0 support for installing 3rd party applications.
Price and availability
In stores as of June 2006, the Nokia 6234 is available exclusive to Vodafone subscribers and can be had for free or up to €350 depending on rate plan.
