Beating the U.S. In the race to bring iTunes synchronization to the RAZR line of slim phones, mobile network operator O2 in the UK has now begun carrying the RAZR V3im. A software-upgraded version of the V3i, which itself was originally slated to debut with iTunes compatibility, the V3im now offers functionality previously available only through the bulky-by-comparison ROKR E1, however retains the 100-song limit as imposed by Apple despite being bundled with a 512 MB microSD memory card.

Similar to the RAZR V3m, which is slated to bring iTunes to the U.S. RAZR line-up in the second quarter of 2006, the V3im also offers 3G connectivity and a 1.3 Megapixel camera which together enable video calls, as well as Bluetooth connectivity.

Price and availability

The Motorola RAZR V3im is now available from UK mobile network operator O2 for free on pay monthly contracts.

Read the full article » Picking up where the W800i left off, the Sony Ericsson W810i offers improved music navigation in tandem with the same excellent music management capabilities and decent amount of bundled memory as its predecessor. Out-of-box audio quality is on par with the high standards we've come to except from the handset maker, while we’re slightly disappointed by the lack of stereo Bluetooth audio. These niggles aside, the W810i makes for a stellar music phone with side servings of a 2-megapixel camera and EDGE. Read the full article »
Samsung SGH-i300

Samsung SGH-i300

Read the full article » It may not look like a music phone at first glance, but looks can be deceiving: outstanding audio quality, intuitive and comfortable navigation, spacious storage and first-rate synchronization render the SGH-i300 the best music phone we’ve reviewed to date. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s also a first-class alternative for business users not in need of editing capabilities, and contains a raft of clever little touches which show attention to detail and result in a finely polished handset. Heartily recommended. Read the full article »
