Motorola RAZR V3m review summary
Motorola RAZR V3m launch coverage
Motorola gives their sleek, sexy RAZR phones a much-needed burst of music with the V3m, a “music-enhanced” CDMA version of the RAZR that adds an integrated music player and a microSD expansion slot that supports up to 1GB of flash memory (which – meddlesome carriers notwithstanding -- should allow you to transfer your own MP3s to the phone). The V3m, announced this week at CTIA and set to arrive in the second quarter of 2006 (price TBA), will also include the original RAZR’s Bluetooth support and 1.3-megapixel camera.
Motorola C290
Motorola makes its way back into the Sprint lineup with the C290, the handset maker’s first Sprint PCS Vision phone. The mid-range, CDMA/1XRTT phone boasts the standard PCS Vision features (such as downloadable wallpaper, ringers, games and apps), plus a speakerphone, calendar, address book, mobile Web, and voice memos – but no camera, unfortunately. The C290 is available now for $180, or $30 with a voice plan.
Motorola W315
Fast on the heels of the RAZR V3m and the C290 comes the W315, which looks to be a relatively basic handset: no camera or music capabilities, but it features aGPS support and multimedia messaging. This bare-bones phone is slated to arrive in the second half of 2006; pricing to be determined.
