Containing a 2 Megapixel camera, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, quad-band GSM and EDGE support, Orange's SPV M600 is one of the most advanced Windows Mobile 5.0 devices to date.

Circumventing the debate over form vs function, Orange has unveiled the latest addition to its portfolio of business phones with the SPV M600. Despite a resoundingly small form factor, features such as a 2 Megapixel camera, quad-band GSM with EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g and an SDIO-enabled SD/MMC card expansion slot have all been found room for in the SPV M600, which lacks only 3G to compete with devices such as the operator's own SPV M5000 or the Sony Ericsson P990i.

Running Windows Mobile 5.0, the SPV M600 is also equipped with two soft buttons to exploit the improvements made to one-handed navigation in the latest version of Microsoft's mobile device platform, while users can still interact with the device through its touch-sensitive, 2.8-inch touch screen. Equipped with a 200 MHz processor, the device also offers 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of ROM, all in a package measuring 108 x 58 x 18 mm and weighing 150 g.

Further information concerning the expected pricing and availability of the Orange SPV M600 were not available at the time of press.
