Now with 4 GB of storage as opposed to the paltry 3 GB of its SGH-i300 predecessor, Samsung's SGH-i300x remains one of the most fully featured smartphones in existence.
Updating its first hard drive-enabled smartphone, Samsung has unveiled the SGH-i300x, adding an additional Gigabyte of storage to the 3 GB of its predecessor, the
SGH-i300. Remaining otherwise identical, the Windows Mobile smartphone is - in lieu of Nokia's
N91 hitting shelves - the only of its kind to date to include a hard drive for storage, which can even be further expanded courtesy of a microSD expansion slot.
A tri-band GSM handset with GPRS support, the SGH-i300x also includes a high-resolution QVGA display; 1.3 Megapixel camera; voice recognition; and a full compliment of Infrared, Bluetooth and USB for local connectivity. Measuring in at 113 x 48 x 20 mm and 121 g, the Samsung SGH-i300x is now available across Europe selling at various price points across different operators.
