Dubbed the L'Amour Collection, Nokia's new 7360, 7370 and 7380 handsets sport unusual designs mixed with a few surprisingly high-end features - including a 2 MP camera in the 7280.

After a lukewarm reception of its first radically different fashion phone, the 7280, Nokia is making another stab at this particular niche - and this time with a trio of handsets as opposed to just one. Unveiled today, the 7360, 7370 and 7380 fashion handsets offer touches of natural detail, colours and patterns in combination with high-end features - in some cases.

To be peddled under the L'Amour Collection moniker, Nokia's Design team looked to materials such as amber, ceramic, turquoise, silk and enamel for inspiration and drew on craft techniques such as enamelling and etching to obtain a distinctive look.

Rather obviously a successor to the aforementioned Nokia 7280, the 7380 sports an etched mirrored display and keyless scroll dial for navigation in a design distinctly similar to that of its predecessor. The centrepiece of the collection, the handset includes among its key features a 2 Megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, speaker independent voice dialling and an audio player with MP3 support.

The next model in line is the 7370, which is Nokia's first swivel handset and integrates an 1.3 Megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom and stereo speakers with 3D sound effects. Another first is the inclusion of a 2-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, with this handset also offering video ringtones.

Lastly, the Nokia 7360 offers a more conventional approach with its monoblock form factor, sporting a modest feature set including an integrated 0.3 Megapixel camera, stereo FM radio and MP3 ring tones.

All of the band members of the L'Amour Collection are expected to be available in the first quarter of 2006, with the Nokia 7380 unsurprisingly clocking as the most expensive of the three models at €500 EUR. The Nokia 7360 and 7370, meanwhile, will respectively sell for €200 and €300 EUR, both of which will be available both in coffee brown and warm amber colour schemes.
