Both headsets come in small sizes and feature Bluetooth 1.2 - but only one is equipped with Logitech's WindStop Technology. Meet the Mobile Traveller and Mobile Express.
Logitech has expanded its line-up of Bluetooth headset to encompass two new models, the Mobile Traveller Headset and Mobile Express Headset. Both headset feature small form factors and Bluetooth 1.2, with the benefits thusfrom derived in the form of Adaptive Frequency Hopping and reduced interference, whereas Logitech's patent-pending WindStop technology is confined to the Mobile Traveller headset.
Designed with a over-ear soft rubber headpiece and cushioned ear pad, the Mobile Traveller Headset weighs in at a comparably light 0.6 oz and offers up to seven hours of talk time as well as up to 300 hours of standby time. A multifunction call/answer button is joined by features such as voice dialing, three-way calling and muting, whereas the acoustical barrier technology that is WindStop promises 'clear conversations in adverse conditions' without taking a toll on battery life or adding to the weight of the headset.
Weighing in on par with the Mobile Traveller is the Mobile Express headset, which can be worn on either the left or right ear courtesy of its adjustable wrap-around earpiece and in-ear speaker. Furthermore, the headset incorporates a call/answer multifunction button on the side, and also mimics the voice dialing, three-way calling and mute functions of the Mobile Traveller Headset. According to Logitech, the Mobile Express will offer up to four hours of talk time and up to 110 hours of standby time.
The Logitech Mobile Traveller Headset will be available in September in US and European retail stores at a suggested retail price of $80 USD, whereas the Logitech Mobile Express Headset is expected to arrive in October for $50 USD.
