Sporting a 30-feet range, Logitech's new Wireless Headphones for MP3 relies on Bluetooth 1.2 for wirelessly transferring stereo audio to the cochlears of music lovers everywhere.
Following in the footsteps of Toshiba and Hewlett-Packard, Logitech is bringing to market a pair of Bluetooth headphones which will let users listen to stereo audio from the portable audio player of their choice in a most untethered manner. The somewhat-lengthily dubbed Logitech Wireless Headphones for MP3 relies on Bluetooth 1.2 to provide a range of up to 30 feet, and reduced interference as compared to Bluetooth 1.1.
Sporting integrated volume controls, the Logitech Wireless Headphones for MP3 come with a dongle styled in the vein of a black Apple iPod, capable of connecting to any standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. Meanwhile, the headphones feature 40 mm neodymium drivers and rely on rechargeable batteries from which Logitech claims up to eight hours of playback on one charge.
The Logitech Wireless Headphones for MP3 will be available in July in the US and Europe for a suggested retail price of $130 USD, or €110 EUR.
