Announced as recently as in April, Nokia today confirmed that its highly anticipated 2-Megapixel cameraphone, the Series 60 based N90 smartphone, will be slightly delayed to market. Speaking to infoSync World, Nokia Multimedia Communications Manager Karoliina Lehmusvirta attributed the decision to a desire to 'ensure a superior quality user experience in all aspects of the product', stating that the handset maker is currently delaying the sales inroduction of the N90 for approximately two weeks.
Introduced alongside the N91 and N70 models at the Nokia Destination event recently hosted by the Finnish manufacturer in Amsterdam, the N90 employs Carl Zeiss optics and a swiveling display design to allow the handset to be operated in much the same fashion as a camcorder. Other features include 3G support, a 262K colour high-resolution display and Bluetooth 2.0.
