Nokia today announced that it has started deliveries of the Nokia 6680, introduced just one month ago at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, France. A quad-band smartphone with GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz and WCDMA 2100 MHz (UMTS), the 6680 has a focus on multimedia and 3G with the inclusion of dual cameras, a 262K colour screen, support for the PictBridge standard via USB. Other features include EDGE and Bluetooth support, as well as memory expansion courtesy of RS-MMC.
According to Nokia, the 6680 will be available in markets across Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, however the company did not comment on the expected pricing in different markets.
