Two variants of the HSDPA data card from Siemens are expected be available for commercial use in the second half of 2005, with model DC16 featuring W-CDMA connectivity at 850/1900 MHz for North America and model DC10 featuring W-CDMA connectivity at 2100 MHz for Europe and Asia.
Both models fit into the PC Card slot in notebook computers and are equipped with quadruple band GSM technology (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), making them suitable for use in all GSM, GPRS and EDGE networks around the world. Additionally, both are based on Data Suite software and support simple plug-and-play functionality with the Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems.
