QVGA displays and a jump in camera resolution signify T-Mobile's new SDA II and SDA II Music Windows Mobile smartphones, due out in Germany this July.
Extending its range of SDA smartphones, mobile network operator T-Mobile today announced that the company will introduce two new additions to its current line-up of Windows Mobile powered smartphones this summer. To be dubbed the SDA II and SDA II Music, the devices offer feature sets similar to those of the current generation, however improve in the area of display and camera resolution.
No longer featuring a camera due to security concerns raised by the enterprise, the SDA II will offer a QVGA resolution display as its main selling point, which is also to be present in the SDA II Music. Where the SDA II has had its camera removed, however, the SDA II Music has instead received an upgrade and now offers a resolution of 1.3 Megapixels.

Discussing the new smartphones with infoSync World at CeBIT, T-Mobile Corporate Communications spokesman Husam Azrak said the operator also hopes to implement the next version of Microsoft's Windows Mobile platform in the new products, as opposed to Windows Mobile 2003 SE, which powers the current generation of SDA smartphones.
Expected to be available in Germany this July, pricing for the SDA II and SDA II Music is as of yet unknown.
