Featuring a 1.92 MP camera with autofocus and a 2.4" display, the TS 921 is the first 3G handset from Toshiba to hit Europe.
Vodafone and Toshiba today announced a strategic partnership to market a range of 3G handsets in Europe, Australia, Japan and New Zealand. Building on their partnership in Japan, where Toshiba is one of the leading suppliers of handsets to Vodafone KK, this expanded relationship marks Toshiba's entrance into the European mobile phone market.
The first handset to be made available under the new relationship is the Vodafone TS 921, a 3G handset featuring a 1.92 MP camera with autofocus and a 2.4" colour display. The TS 921 will also work on 900/1800/1900 MHz networks, and Vodafone claims a standby time of up to 20 days and talk time of up to 5 hours. Furthermore, the TS 921 offers an SD memory card slot, video output and MPEG4 support.
The Vodafone TS 921 will be available in April 2005.
