At CeBIT 2005 Samsung today introduced the SCH-V770 mobile phone, boasting a 7 megapixel camera and a QVGA LCD display.

Boasting a 1/1.8 inch type CCD image sensor, the new Samsung SCH-V770 offers a digital camera resolution of hefty 7 megapixels. The Samsung SCH-V770 also features a 3x optical/5x digital zoom, autofocus, and flash. Furthermore, the SCH-V770 offers a focal length of 7.8 to 23.4 mm, manual focus control, and a shutter speed of up to 1/2000th of a second.
The Samsung SCH-V770 will also offer enhanced music playback through a new digital power amplifier, and sports a QVGA TFD-LCD display capable of showing up to 16 million colours.

The SCH-V770 has an internal memory of 32 MB as well as a memory slot, and can also be connected directly to televisions for viewing of photos and videos taken with the digital camera. The phone also offers Video- and Audio-on-demand features.
The Samsung SCH-V770 will initially be available in Asia, while pricing and availability in Western markets is yet to be announced.
