Despite having previously announced that its MoviePlayer accessory for the Apple iPod would launch early this year, a recent update from manufacturer Nyko Technologies suggests the product will not be available until the third quarter of 2005. The accessory, which draws on an Apple iPod to enable video playback and photo viewing, quickly received the attention of the iPod community at the time of its unveiling.
Nyko Technologies cited no reason in particular, however did reveal the expected pricing for the MoviePlayer accessory, which is to be $249 USD.
