Panasonic has released a Bluetooth headset to complement its Symbian OS smartphone, although it works with all other Bluetooth phones as well.
Following up on the launch of its Bluetooth-equipped smartphone, the Panasonic X700, Panasonic has released its own BHX70 Bluetooth headset supporting dual profiles and shared charger support.

The BHX70 is a moderately sized headset, measuring 57 x 36 x 30 mm and weighing in at 23 grams. It is also reversable, fitting over either ear by moving the ear clip. It includes two LED indcators, and the Class 3 Bluetooth radio is rated for up to 10 meters. As with most current headsets it supports both the Headset and Handsfree profiles to connect to any Bluetooth phone on the market. For the fasion conscious, the BHX70 is available with three replaceable colored covers.
The included battery is rated for 5 hours talk time or 125 hours standby. Not surprisingly, it uses the same charging cable as the Panasonic X700, making life easier for travelers who are willing to stick with one company. Pricing and availability were not available.
