HP has released a Wi-Fi driver upgrade for its h4100 line. The new upgrade adds only one new feature, the ability to seemlessly roam from one Wi-Fi base station to another if the two base stations are on the same subnet. If they are on the same subnet, the handheld should be able to move itself from one to the next without changing its IP address. The new driver is available as a free 1.2 MB download from the HP support site, and requires that users already have the 1.00.14 ROM update installed, released last month.
