Having already bolstered its mid-range and high-end handset portfolio, Siemens launches the monochrome A57 featuring exchangeable covers, 16-tone polyphonic ringtones and EMS. At 84 g, the handset also offers EMS, a currency converter, quick dial and hotkeys, as well as calling animations. Owners will also be able to have some fun with the four embedded games of the phone.
According to Siemens, the A57 offers a standby time of up to 250 hours and talk time of up to 5 hours, and will be available throughout Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Middle East from July 2004. Its pricing has yet to be determined, and will vary in local markets.
