Both the 410 and 420 are tablet-style handhelds, measuring 113 x 70.6 x 14.1 mm and weighing 126 grams. The 410 runs on a 300 MHz Intel PXA 255 processor while the 420 runs a 400 MHz Intel PXA 255 processor. Both models come with 64 MB of RAM and are supported by an 1100 mAh Lithium-Ion removable battery. The display is the standard QVGA 240 x 320 color TFT common to most Windows Mobile devices. Both models also include a voice recorder via built-in microphone and headphone jack.
Connectivity is provided by the usual IrDA port, and an SDIO-capable Secure Digital slot available on both models. Both also include Bluetooth connectivity. The 420 goes a step further, however, and also includes an integrated Wi-Fi radio for wireless ethernet. It also ships with a docking cradle, while the 410 ships with just a cable.
Both models run Windows Mobile 2003 (not Second Edition), and come with all of the usual Windows Mobile features. Fujitsu-Siemens has also included a number of their own add-ons, including SpeedMenu, Backup, and Keylock. A software voucher with the 420 provides access to additional free applications.
The Pocket LOOX 410 is available now in Europe for 399 EUR ($491 USD), while the Pocket LOOX 420 costs 420 EUR ($517 USD). North American availability is unknown.
