Wireless entertainment publisher Jamdat Mobile announced today it has signed a multi-territory publishing agreement with Microsoft Games Studios to bring titles from the Xbox video game system to mobile devices.
Under the terms of the agreement, JAMDAT will publish the titles for multiple wireless platforms, including Microsoft's Windows Mobile-based Smartphone. The games will be distributed to consumers through wireless carriers in North America and the European Union, as well as select South American and Asia/Pacific markets, including, but not limited to, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, South Korea, Australia and Taiwan.
The games are currently scheduled for release during 2Q - 3Q of 2004, and include Amped 2, a snowboarding game, RalliSport Challenge 2, and Top Spin, a tennis game.
