Motorola have unveiled another mobile phone at CeBIT, this time running on the 3G UMTS network. The candybar handset is named the A845.
Featuring videophone capability, the A845's digital camera can also be used to record images and video which can be sent to other users either across the network or via the included Bluetooth wireless functionality.

The UMTS network allows the A845 to download add-on Java games and applications and to browse the web on the large colour screen, with data stored in the unit's 64 MB of memory. Other features include an MP3 player with loudspeaker.
Motorola have also included aGPS (Assisted GPS), allowing the phone to be used as a navigation tool while on the move.
The A845 is expected to become available in the USA with the launch of AT&T's UMTS / WCDMA network in the second half of 2004.
