Text messages from Britney Spears about her life on tour - and a chance to meet Britney in person - are now offered to fans through Britney Mobile Live! The mobile messaging campaign was launched for her Onyx Hotel Tour, following her as she travels throughout the world, and will continue throughout the year.
Mocca expects to sign up thousands of subscribers to its first phase of the weekly text messaging campaign. Exclusive information from Britney will be sent to Britney's fans who opt-in to receive the messages on their cell phones. In addition, subscribers will automatically be entered to win VIP tickets and a special chance to meet Britney in person at a July 2004 U.S. concert. Lucky winners will be flown to the concert city, stay in a hotel nearby, meet with Britney and attend the concert.
The second phase of Britney Mobile Live!(TM) will offer fans premium content and two-way messaging. Mocca expects to launch the second phase in April, and have robust new features fully enabled for the European leg of the tour beginning April 27. The Onyx Hotel Tour began March 2, 2004 in San Diego, California, and will be attended by well over 1 million in US and Europe alone. Britney Mobile Live! will be promoted at every stop.
