Bluetooth Media Viewer MMV-100, HBH-600 headset, HPS-20 handsfree and IAC-25 Active Case pile onto the scene to accompany new phone announcements.
Electronics giant Sony Ericsson has brought Christmas in March with a swathe of accessory announcements.
The first of these is the Bluetooth Media Viewer MMV-100. This uses the popular wireless technology to receive pictures sent from a mobile phone and to display them on a TV or projector to which the viewer is directly connected.
The MMV-100, to be available this quarter, can handle connections from multiple devices, allowing the unit to be a communal destination, while it can also receive audio files directly from a phone for playback on a TV's superior speakers.

Compatible phones number all major Sony Ericsson high-end handsets from the T68i onwards, including today's K700 and S700, and the MMV-100 connects to TVs via a SCART or RCA cable.
The second announcement details a new Bluetooth headset, the HBH-600. This is a cousin of the HBH-65, and features exchangeable covers, two of which are included in the pack. A five-cover pack is available along with a protective case, while a strap is included with the headset for easy carrying.
The HBH-600 features a simple ear-loop for mounting on the user's head, and supports voice dial and voice commands on compatible handsets. The HBH-600 will be available this quarter.
Thirdly, Sony Ericsson have introduced the HPS-20, a light-weight portable handsfree kit differentiated by its sporty design, making it suitable for jogging and other extended uses. The handsfree, which is to be available at the end of Q2 2004, accepts a range of Style-Up exchangeable covers for personalization.
Finally, the IAC-25 Active Case, available from the middle of Q2, is a new carrying solution with an active focus (hence the name). The case, which is not device-specific, can be attached to users' arms, belts or bags for a versatile carrying solution.
