Three new mobile phones, cordless phones with MMS and a pen that's also a phone comprise Siemens' lineup for this year's CeBIT.
This year's CeBIT, to be held in March, will showcase several new Siemens products in the telecommunications sector.
Three as-yet unnamed mobile phones open the lineup: the first, a successor to the ME45, is designed to fuse a rugged, outdoors design with multimedia features. It will offer water and dust protection along with shock resistance, while also containing a large colour display and video-capable VGA camera.

The second enigmatic mobile aims to offer a phone for both business and leisure, combining business functionality in a 'lavish' design. The third is an entry-level MMS phone, which Siemens describe as 'reliable'.
Although many will be interested in the world's first cordless home-phone with built-in camera and MMS capability, the standout product in Siemens' arsenal has been dubbed the PenPhone.
This product is the size of a chubby ballpoint pen (140 mm long, 19 mm diameter), and yet also contains a tri-band mobile phone. It will allow users to dial numbers by writing them, and also offers handwriting recognition, so text messages can be sent with a quick scribble. Unfortunately, Siemens has not yet committed itself to commercial production on the PenPhone, although we can imagine demand for the device would be huge.
