Failing to meet yet another self-imposed deadline for the introduction of Palm OS 5 drivers for its Connect Wi-Fi SD Card, SanDisk has now moved the timeline for introduction of these to some time in the second quarter of 2004.
Originally to be introduced in mid-2003, the latest word from the company said drivers would be made available in December, but due to the problematic nature of ensuring cross-manufacturer compatibility in Palm OS 5 devices, drivers were delayed. This remains the reason for SanDisk's delay to Q2.
