Version 2.2 of Microsoft's Portrait software has now been released, adding support for the latest version of the MSN Messenger protocol in Pocket PCs, Handheld PC 2000 (except HPCs with SH3 processors) and Smartphones.

The application, which enables users to communicate via audio and/or video over Internet connections and across PC and Windows Mobile platforms, also adds support for the SPECTEC SD camera and Lifeview FlyCAM-SD 1.3 MP camera on Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC, as well as support for full-duplex voice on this and the Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphone platform.
