Owners of the T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition - the American cousin of the XDA - can rejoice: the carrier will be offering an upgrade for users to the latest Microsoft platform, Windows Mobile 2003.
The upgrade, which is valued at $30 USD, will be offered free to all existing T-Mobile Phone Edition customers.
New features include always-on Exchange 2003 functionality, giving users up-to-date email and PIM information over-the-air; PowerPoint and PDF viewing; improved phone features and Windows Media Player 9.
T-Mobile did not announce a precise date for availability of the upgrade.
