Opera Software today announced that their web browser technology, Opera, is to be included in Motorola's new phone for UMTS networks: the Motorola A920. The Motorola A920 is the first Motorola phone to feature Opera as its browser, and Opera's first UMTS phone network deployment.
The A920 was launched last week on the 3 network, available in several countries, including the UK and Italy. Opera is also available as the integrated browser of several other devices, including the Sony Ericsson P800 running Symbian and the Sharp Zaurus SL-5500 running embedded Linux. Opera is also available for desktops.
