Opening its doors to owners of wireless-enabled Palm OS and Pocket PC handhelds, a new casino lets you gamble on the go - no strings attached.
For those whose money is burning a hole in their pocket, there is now a new way to spend money while on the go. Parlay Entertainment announced recently that WinwardCasino has become the first to market with Parlay’s real-time, real-money, wireless suite of online casino games.
"We’re very pleased to announce that WinwardCasino.com’s Parlay-powered wireless casino went
live as scheduled on June 27th," said David Outhwaite, Parlay’s Chief Executive Officer.
Developed in conjunction with Phantom Fiber, WinwardCasino.com’s wireless casino suite offers 17 games including blackjack, slots and video poker for real money wagering on phones as well as Palm OS and Pocket PC wireless-enabled handhelds.
According to the two companies, future enhancements will include new games, such as roulette and craps, and support for additional mobile device platforms including Symbian OS and J2ME.
Features provided by Parlay Entertainment and Phantom Fiber enable players to use a single account between wireless devices and a desktop/notebook PC. No personal and/or financial information is transferred between the mobile device and the gaming system. In addition, said Parlay Entertainment, the absence of a browser application gateway ensures that information remains encrypted between the gaming system and the mobile device all the time.
