Gateway will announce its commitment to deliver a PDA based on Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC - the new name for Microsoft's next-gen Pocket PC platform, also to be introduced next week. According to Gateway, its new 100X handheld will begin shipping in mid- to late July, featuring a 400 MHz Intel XScale PXA255 processor, a 3.5" colour display, and dual CompactFlash Type II and SDIO capable SD/MMC Card expansion slots.

Geared primarily towards business professionals, the Gateway PDA will be included in bundled mobility solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses, corporations, schools and government agencies. The device will be selling in the $300 to $350 USD price range.">

Early next week, Gateway will announce its commitment to deliver a PDA based on Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC - the new name for Microsoft's next-gen Pocket PC platform, also to be introduced next week. According to Gateway, its new 100X handheld will begin shipping in mid- to late July, featuring a 400 MHz Intel XScale PXA255 processor, a 3.5" colour display, and dual CompactFlash Type II and SDIO capable SD/MMC Card expansion slots.
