Snapperfish has announced that the company has licensed security technology from Certicom to be included into Snapperfish’s SnapperMail wireless e-mail client for Palm OS devices. Certicom's SSL Plus developer toolkit will be incorporated into a Premier version of SnapperMail, due to be launched later this month.

SnapperMail Premier will support POP3, APOP, SMTP and authenticated SMTP over a secure SSL connection on any device running Palm OS 3.5 or higher. According to Snapperfish, the SnapperMail Premier client's SSL implementation will be fully FIPS certified and will support 3DES and RC4-128 ciphers.">

Snapperfish has announced that the company has licensed security technology from Certicom to be included into Snapperfish’s SnapperMail wireless e-mail client for Palm OS devices.
