The Pocket Quicken application is a mobile companion to the Quicken desktop product, and synchronises information between the two - allowing users to view and edit Quicken data on the go. Among the client's key features are account balances at a glance, viewing account registers, protecting data with PIN access, warning users of overdrawn accounts, support for foreign currencies, budget tracking and more.
Version 2.01, a free upgrade to existing owners of Pocket Quicken 2.0, adds a calculator to the feature list, along with a Today screen plug-in and the adding of a "Quicken Transaction" choice to the Pocket PC global New menu. Also, zeroes are no longer removed from transaction/split values under 10 cents, and according to LandWare synchronisation should now be more stable - and the companyhas also corrected a time zone issue affecting the display of sync dates on the handheld.
