Idruna has announced the launch of Pocket Phojo 2.0, a major update to its Pocket PC software specifically designed to allow photo journalists to get photos back to base as rapidly as possible. In conjunction with the announcement, Idruna also announced that several publications covering the ongoing conflict in Iraq are making use of its software, including Newsweek and the San Antonio Express News - both of which have correspondents in the Middle East currently employing Pocket Phojo.

New features in version 2.0 of Pocket Phojo include an improved thumbnail view which Idruna said shows more pictures faster, fixed dimension cropping, a new image navigator, added support for sending pictures via e-mail, a new transfer files feature and lastly an overall speed increase.">
